Xandra Bale & “Psycho” Mike Rollins Defeat Gabriella Vanderpool & Marcus Marquez

On Saturday January 28, 2012, at Variety Village Children Centre in Scarborough, Ontario, Squared Circle Wrestling held “Golden Hearts” which saw 100% of the proceeds go Variety Village. This action packed card featured an intergender tag team match up between the teams of Xandra Bale & “Psycho” Mike Rollins and Gabriella Vanderpool and Marcus Marquez.

The team of Vanderpool and Marquez were disgusted by the crowd’s reaction to them and in turn showed their complete displeasure and contempt for them in return as they took they time entering the ring as they verbally abused the fans.

“Psycho” Mike definitely lived up to his nickname as he was confused by what intergender meant as he changed his name to “Pyscho” Michelle and wore a tutu, make up and black tape over his nipples. “Michelle’s” appearance outraged the team of Vanderpool and Marquez who initially did not want to soil their hands against the opposition.

The match started out at a quick pace as Xandra Bale immediately attacked Vanderpool tacking her to the canvas and pounded away on her with forearms and followed things up with a blatant choke. It was obvious right from the outset that there was no love lost between Bale and Vanderpool as these two have wrestled each other on several occasions. Bale tagged in “Psycho” Michelle who wanted to test the skills of Vanderpool.

In a bizarre move Vanderpool and “Michelle” locked up in a Greco-Roman Knuckle Lock and Vanderpool had “Michelle” on his/her knees which was shocking to say the least. However this did not last long as “Michelle” got slowly got back up and then Vanderpool made a huge mistake by trying to scoop “Michelle” up for an attempted body slam. This obviously backfired as “Michelle” reversed the situation and hoisted Vanderpool up on his/her shoulders and twirled her around a few times before depositing Vanderpool to the canvas.

However the team of Vanderpool and Marquez were able to turn the tide as Marquez & Vanderpool were able to double team the smaller Bale. Marquez then followed things up by blatantly breaking the rules as he grabbed Bale by the hair dragging her around the ring and eventually tossing her down to the canvas in a heap.

This gave Vanderpool the opportunity to tag back in and enact some revenge on Bale for her earlier beat down. Vanderpool went right to work by using her boot and pressed it up into Bale’s throat in a brutal choke against the turnbuckles. The veteran Vanderpool wisely went to work on Bale’s back with a vicious backbreaker as she knew this would take away some of Bale’s speed and ground her aerial tactics as well.

Vanderpool followed up her advantage with an agonizing pendulum Swing hold that tore into Bale’s vertebrates as she screamed out in pain but would not give in. A frustrated Vanderpool let go and Bale in a sitting surfboard once again trying to get a submission out of Bale but to no avail.

Bale showed true heart and courage as she would not submit to these painful holds. Frustration got the better of Vanderpool as she let Bale go and allowed the high-flying speedster back up onto her feet where Vanderpool left herself wide open for a well placed boot right on the jaw which finally gave Bale some much needed breathing room and time to regroup. However Marquez was going to have none of this as he entered the ring but Bale outsmarted the two as they went for a double team as she was able to kick free from both of them and finally get a much-needed tag to “Psycho Michelle”.

The team of Vanderpool and Marquez had no answers as “Psycho Michelle” entered the ring totally on fire as he hit Marquez with a huge fisherman’s buster that had him flat on his back counting the stars up in the rafters. This allowed Xandra Bale the opportunity to ascend the top rope where she flew off crashing down across Marquez’s chest with a huge splash! “Psycho Michelle” was able to the cover Marquez and pick up the 1 2 3 count victory!
