PWA: Alexia the last time we saw you in the ring you were having a very competitive match with Jasmin at Quest for Glory II on November 2nd, 2013 in Kitchener. During that contest you sustained an injury. Can you tell us what happened?
Alexia: Sure. Near the end of the match I gave Jasmin a northern lights suplex and it might have been the way I landed or how much pressure and weight was on my shoulder or maybe even a freak accident but as soon as I landed I dislocated my shoulder. It was a big deal for me because I already had shoulder surgery before so I really wasn’t expecting my shoulder to ever pop out.
PWA: It was definitely a pause on your career that is starting to blossom. Can you tell the fans about your recovery and how it has gone?
Alexia: I had open shoulder surgery in January and recovery has been going great. I’ve been healing a lot quicker than expected and my doctors are all impressed with how far I’ve come in such a short amount of time.
PWA: It was definitely a setback as no one enjoys injuries. During your time away from the ring is there anything you did or could do with wrestling while you had your sights set on a return?
Alexia: Up until recently there wasn’t much I could do wrestling wise. My main focus was to get back in shape, build up the muscle, and most importantly heal properly so that I’d be able to get back in the ring.
