The main event of Shimmer 68 was a Fatal Four Way Elimination for the Shimmer Championship.  Unfortunately, this stipulation would take away the champion’s advantage from Cheerleader Melissa.

In a complete shocker Athena eliminated the reigning champion Cheerleader Melissa first when Madison Eagles hit Melissa with her Hellbound finisher and then Nicole Matthews would hit the champ with her finisher the Vancouver Maneuver and finally Athena would hit Melissa with the O Face and pinned her.

The second elimination happened when Matthews rolled up Athena and pinned her with a hand full of tights.

The final elimination took place when Matthews cheated by throwing fire right in Eagles face and went on to pin the former Shimmer Champion to become the new Shimmer Champion.
