From January 13 – 18, 2015, CWE (Canadian Wrestling Elite) held its 6th Anniversary “Small Town Throw Down Tour”.  This tour took place between the provinces of Saskatchewan and Manitoba and featured a very heated and competitive “Best of 5” match rivalry between Kat Von Heez and Violet.  In the end 5 matches were not enough as both women were disqualified in the 5th match.  However, it was Kat Von Heez who was able to clinch the Best of 5 series win over Violet in a 6th and deciding No DQ match.

The results of the Best of 5 Series was:

January 13th in Yorkton:  Kat Von Heez defeated Violet

January 14th in Virden:  Violet defeated Kat Von Heez

January 15th in Souris:  Violet defeated Kat Von Heez

January 16th in Winnipeg:  Kat Von Heez defeated Violet

January 17th in Gladstone:  Kat Von Heez & Violet battled to a double DQ

January 18th in Morden:  Kat Von Heez defeated Violet in a no DQ match to clinch the Best of 5 series win.

Below are some photographs from Kat Von Heez and Violets January 14th match:

On Saturday January 17th, 2015 from the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, BC, ECCW (Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling) held “Ballroom Battle 3” that saw a women’s tag match between the teams of Cat Power, the reigning undisputed ECCW Women’s Champion who teamed up with Jaida.  The two would square off against Veda Scott & Bambi Hall.

a

It looked as though the team of Scott and Hall was closing in on the win however it was snatched away from them by the eventual winners of Cat Power and Jaida who had to resort to some underhanded tactics.  However, after the match there was some friction between Power and Jaida which ended with Jaida being blind sided and left laid out in the ring.

Last October 2014, during an RCW wrestling tour two of Western Canada’s most promising contenders battled inside the ring.  It just so happens that these two rising stars are twin sisters Violet and Skarlet.  There was obviously a rivalry that had to be settled between the two and the best place to settle things was inside the squared circle.

a

After a very close and competitive match up between the two it was Skarlet who went on to narrowly defeat her sister by pin fall.  Even though Violet did not win the match rest assured that she will be looking to even the score in 2015.
